 Hello Everyone!

My name is Christiana Sylvaine, and I am from Kansas City, Missouri. Welcome to my blog!

I am a junior in college and this is my first year at OSU. This is my first term as a History major--I was previously studying Anthropology. So far I am enjoying the program and have found it more fitting to my learning interests!

My biggest hobby is without a doubt my dog, Kenji. We do everything together outside of work and school. We bonded immediately when he first joined my family in December, where we spent the remaining winter days together taking naps. He's very expressive, smart, and loyal in the gentlest way. Just by a picture alone, people can tell that he has a kind heart. 

My primary sources for online communication is through various social media cites, Instagram and WeChat being the two I use the most frequently. I use these sites for networking and developing relationships that normally wouldn't be accessible to me. Instagram is a great platform to express myself with pictures and creating an overall aesthetic that reflects the things about myself that I like to share with other people. WeChat, on the other hand, is mostly used for communicating with my coworkers and close friends. On this account I usually post pictures of food--either something I've made or food from restaurants I've visited. 

I'm so excited to be learning more about communicating online through this class!
